Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a general term for a group of chronic inflammatory disorders involving the gastrointestinal tract. Chinese herbal medicine has very effective herbal remedies to restore the gastrointestinal functions. In the literature of Traditional Chinese Medicine, diseases like IBD were described under the topics of dysentery and diarrhea as caused by "dampness and heat". and can be treated by "clear heat and transform dampness" methods. To rebuild the digestive function, " supplement the spleen and fortify the stomach" method should be used. Recently 15 clinical studies conducted in Chinese hospitals have been summarized. These studies used different Chinese herbal remedies and found the overall effective rate of treating IBD was above 90 percent. The herbs used in IBD treatments are very safe and very rarely have adverse reactions. In order to regulate immune function and the bowel movements, acupuncture should be used. The treatment may last about three to six months.

Infertility

Lyme Disease

Chinese Medicine has been used successfully in China for many years in the treatment of spirochetal infections similar to Lyme Disease.  Since 1986, when Lyme Disease was first reported in China, these treatment strategies have been adapted and applied to the treatment of Lyme.  Recent studies in the U.S. have demonstrated the effectiveness of these treatment protocols--in more than 500 cases of Lyme Disease, all at different chronic stages, the treatments were effective in completely eliminating symptoms for more than 60% of the patients studied.
