Natural Healing for Hepatitis C

Hepatitis C (HCV) is currently the most prevalent infectious disease in the U.S., with four times as many cases as HIV. 74% of infected patients show few noticeable symptoms until they reach the advanced stage. Some 20 % of chronically infected people develop cirrhosis, and a small percentage go on to develop liver failure or liver cancer. Hepatitis C results in 8,000 to 10,000 deaths annually and is the leading cause for liver transplants in the U.S.--and may soon, according to experts, take more lives than AIDS.

Conventional treatment for HCV leaves a lot to be desired, but there are natural approaches that can help boost immunity, normalize liver function, lower the virus load, and prevent cirrhosis. Chinese medical studies show that Chinese herbal remedies have a much higher sustained response rate than the Western drug interferon, are more affordable, and have no serious side effects. Based on extensive experience treating hepatitis in China, a Chinese herbal protocol has been developed In the U.S. This protocol was highly recommended by Dr. Andrew Weil in 1998.
